The Brief
ServiceMaster by A-1 Janitorial grosses over $2 million in annual service sales around the southern Ohio area. To keep things lean they requested an inexpensive site (under $1,500) they could start using to promote their core cleaning services. Typically, a project manager will present potential clients with a thick packet outlining ServiceMaster's capabilities, which span from carpet cleaning to disaster recovery. They wanted a website with the promotional gumption of the packet but without all the extra weight.
The Solution
I started by setting up a CSS grid system and some basic HTML5 structure. Next, I set out to strategically compile copy outlining the company's top five offerings, which made it on the site. I learned that most of their consistent clients came from building a relationship over several encounters, which usually derived from phone conversations. Using the site, I doubled-down on this sales dynamic by creating a simple contact form on the homepage to encourage potential clients to request a call. ServiceMaster has continued to grow since the site's launch and shows no sign of slowing down.
