K4C

The Brief

Kentucky Construction Career Choice Council (K4C) is a non-profit group that stirs up massive opportunities for high school students that are genuinely interested in pursuing a career in construction. K4C was looking for a refocused homepage refresh that would appeal to the right kind of visitors. K4C felt like a shift had taken place and wanted their design to speak more to their supporting contractors and exhibitors, rather than high school students and educators. Lastly, they needed an inexpensive way for volunteers and committee members to get plugged into a basic CMS.

The Solution

One of the greatest strengths of K4C is the participation and support they receive from genuinely great companies. Since the momentum already existed, I created a design that felt more relevant to contractors. I also wanted to let visitors know that K4C was worthy of support due to their track record of consecutively successful events and exhibitions. The project is still on-going but I've posted a link to the design concept I'm working from.
